This stunning Premier '54' model drum kit sounds as good as it looks!
Finished in a beautiful Blue Marine Pearl finish, this 1966 kit had thin shells made from 3-ply Finnish Birch, with Beech reinforcement rings. The toms are pre-international sizes, and have been fitted with brand new Remo Ambassador Coated heads.
Bass Drum:
- 20x14" thin 3-ply Finnish Birch shell with re-rings
- Looks to have been changed from a left to a right handed kit somewhere in it's life, and the holes have been filled (but still slightly visible).
- There are 2 filled holes on either side of the bass drum, where the cymbal mounts would have been.
- The bass drum feet have been messed around with, so there is some extra holes (see photos).
- Chrome in good condition with some minor pitting.
- Bottom 2 tension rods have been replaced as pervious ones snapped.
- Fitted with a used Evans Clear EMAD batter and Premier Branded reso heads.
Rack Tom:
- 12x8" Pre-international, thin 3-ply Finnish Birch shell with re-rings.
- Missing internal dampener, the three screws holding the tom mount on are not original.
- All original lugs, tension rods and hoops.
- No extra holes.
- Chrome in good condition with some minor pitting.
- Fitted with Brand New Remo Ambassador Coated batter head and original reso head.
Floor Tom:
- 16x16" Pre-international, thin 3-ply Finnish Birch shell with re-rings.
- All original parts.
- No extra holes.
- Chrome in good condition with some minor pitting.
- Fitted with Brand New Remo Ambassador Coated batter head and original reso head.
