The Tama Artstar ES model kit was designed to bring a premium quality sound and look to a moderately priced drum kit. In sizes 22x16", 12x11" and 16x16", with 9-ply shells with a mix of Birch and Luan, and boy, do these drums sound huge!
One for the rock drummer, the Tama Artstar ES kit is beefy, the mix of birch and luan giving a controlled, punchy sound with fantastic low end.
The kit is in great condition, with a few marks and scuffs, however they are purely cosmetic. The kit has been fully cleaned and serviced (after photographs were taken). The floor tom brackets were split, so have been replaced with modern brackets with the same hole spacing, meaning the drum has no extra holes.
Comes with a Mapex tom arm as was missing the original, and floor tom legs (both un-pictured).
