This 'Big Black Steel' 14x8" snare from Tama certainly has power written all over it. With a 1mm steel shell finished with a satin black matte look, it not only sounds the part, but looks it too.
A serious rock snare, providing maximum volume and projection, with a huge amount of depth (literally!), this snare is for someone looking to cut through the band. Tuned low, mid or high, this snare performs very well.
With Tama's Steel Mighty Hoops, high tension lugs, and 20-strand Starclassic wires, this snare will hold it's own on tour. As this is a used drum, there are some signs of use, including a few scuffs on some of the lugs. These are purely cosmetic, and as you can see from the photos, hardly noticeable.
